Under Chris Ilitch’s leadership since 2004, Ilitch Companies has entered new industries, expanded its global reach and increased revenue by more than 600%. Today, its businesses employ tens of thousands of colleagues and serve millions of customers, guests and fans around the world.
Headquartered in Detroit, Ilitch Companies is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, a quest for innovation, and a passion for bringing greater value, convenience and connections to people’s lives.
Our Family of Companies
Ilitch Companies began in 1959, when Mike and Marian Ilitch opened a single Little Caesars restaurant built around a straightforward idea: deliver great value, provide exceptional service and create opportunities for people to succeed.
As Little Caesars grew, the organization expanded, with each new venture reflecting a willingness to pursue new ideas, seize opportunities and invest for the long term.
Today, Ilitch Companies includes a diverse family of businesses, each led by experienced teams and connected by a shared commitment to excellence.

What We Do

Around the Table, Around the World
Little Caesars is the world’s third largest pizza chain, with thousands of restaurants in more than 30 countries and territories. Known for its HOT-N-READY® pizza, Crazy Bread, and its value-driven model, it is the official pizza sponsor of the NFL.
The system is supported by Little Caesars Supply Chain for distribution and logistics, Champion Foods for bakery and manufacturing, and Little Caesars Fundraising for schools and nonprofits across the U.S. and Canada.

Bringing People Together
Ilitch Sports + Entertainment oversees the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre, and — through 313 Presents — concerts and live events at venues throughout metro Detroit.
IS+E continues to expand through investments in the Professional Women’s Hockey League and TGL’s Los Angeles Golf Club, extending its reach into emerging sports and new audiences.

Transforming Where We Live, Work, and Play
Olympia Development of Michigan leads commercial and mixed-use development, including The District Detroit — restaurants, residences, Class A offices, educational institutions and iconic venues in one vibrant destination.
Projects have generated more than $4 billion in estimated economic growth, supported more than 20,000 jobs, and created 1,000 construction apprenticeships.

Creating Premier Destinations
Ilitch Gaming oversees MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, and Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi (pending acquisition subject to regulatory approvals).
With distinctive dining, premier entertainment and a range of guest amenities, each destination is designed to deliver an exceptional experience.

Innovative Insurance Solutions
Founded in 2020, Tenda develops specialty insurance products designed to deliver strong value for customers. Its offerings include property and casualty, general liability, health and other types of coverage.
Investing in What Matters
Our People
Tens of thousands of colleagues bring Ilitch Companies to life every day. Their work spans serving customers and creating memorable experiences for fans and guests to developing new ideas, products and places. Opportunities range from entry-level to leadership roles — full-time, part-time, seasonal and internship — across a wide variety of functions and professions. Many have built careers spanning 20, 30, 40 years or more.
Our Communities
Community investment has always been central to how Ilitch Companies operates — especially in Detroit, its hometown. Through the Ilitch Companies Foundation, Detroit Tigers Foundation, Detroit Red Wings Foundation, Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League, Little Caesars Veterans and First Responders Program and the Love Kitchen, the organization supports youth sports, education, health, veterans, first responders and hunger relief. Together, these organizations have made more than $300 million in grants and giving since 2000.
